At abox.nz, we stand behind the quality of our services. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting a refund.
One-Time Service Package Refunds
All our service packages (Starter through Enterprise, ranging from $7.50 to $63) are one-time payments and follow these refund terms:
- Before Work Begins: Full refund available if you cancel before we start working on your order (within 24 hours of purchase).
- After Work Begins: Once we've started your project (report generated, analysis started, optimization begun), refunds are calculated based on work completed vs. work remaining.
- Upon Completion: If all deliverables have been provided as described, the service is considered fulfilled and no refund is available.
- Service Not as Described: If we fail to deliver the specific services listed in your package, you're entitled to a full or partial refund depending on what was delivered.
Eligibility for Refunds
To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:
- Request must be made within 30 days of purchase
- You must provide a clear reason for the refund request
- Original payment method must still be valid
- No violations of our Terms of Service
- You must have provided necessary access/information for us to complete the work (website URL, credentials if needed)
Important for Digital Services: Since our services are delivered digitally (reports, optimization work, strategy documents), once delivered and accessible to you, the service is considered consumed and refunds may not be available unless the deliverables don't match what was promised in your package.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Completed deliverables (SEO reports, keyword research, audits, optimization work) that have been delivered as described
- Services delivered more than 7 days ago that were not disputed at the time of delivery
- Dissatisfaction with results (traffic, rankings) after deliverables were completed as promised
- Third-party tools or services we configured on your behalf
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact us via email at refunds@abox.nz or through our contact form
- Include your order number, account email, and reason for refund
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
Processing Time
Once your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 3-5 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Cancellations
You may request to cancel your order:
- Within 24 hours of purchase: Full refund if work has not yet started
- After work begins: Partial refund based on percentage of work completed
- After delivery: No refund available unless deliverables don't match what was promised
- To cancel, contact us immediately via email at refunds@abox.nz
Note: Our service packages are delivered as one-time projects. There are no recurring charges. If you need additional services after completion, you can purchase another package.
Disputes
If you have any concerns about a charge or service:
- Please contact us directly at refunds@abox.nz before initiating a chargeback
- We're committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly
- Chargebacks without prior contact may result in denial of future service
- For payment disputes related to Shopify's platform, contact Shopify Support
